It was one of the few chances that Uzbekistan created in the game though they outmatched Vietnam in terms of skills.
Their players were more experienced, and knew when to commit a tactical foul to nip off dangerous attacks by Vietnam.
Playing with a five-man midfield, Vietnam had a fair share of possession in the middle, but were not able to take the ball inside the box.
Both of Vietnam's shots in the first half were from outside the penalty area, and did not cause any trouble for Uzbekistan.
