Vietnam scored the two goals within seven minutes into the game, which took place Saturday in Nepal.
In the first leg, Vietnam had already won 5-1, but for the second leg, coach Mai Duc Chung still sent the strongest team to the field.
In the 4th minute, My Anh took a corner from the right wing, and Pham Hai Yen rushed in and took advantage when Nepal's goalkeeper Angila Subba made a mistake to open the score for Vietnam.
Three minutes later, Thu Thao from the right wing passed the ball into the penalty area, creating the opportunity for Hai Yen to score the second goal.

As a result, Vietnam led Group C with six points and got the ticket to the second qualifying round with Thailand of Group D, India of Group G and Iran of Group B.
The three leading teams of Groups A, E, and F will not be decided until Tuesday.
The second qualification round is expected to be held in October. A total of 12 teams, including five who got to skip the first qualification round, Australia, China, Japan, North Korea and South Korea, will be divided into three groups.
Four teams – the three group winners and the best second-placed one – will then progress to Round 3 to play two pairs of home and away matches, slated for February 2024, with the eventual winners qualifying for the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament Paris 2024.
