As of 7 p.m. on Sunday, the organizers only had about 1,400 tickets left, while Suwon Stadium of South Korea has a capacity of 44,031. By Monday evening, one day before the match, all tickets have been sold.
By spending 300,000 won, fans will get a seat in the center of the first floor of stand A, a buffet meal and a South Korean football jersey. The adjacent area has a ticket price of ₩200,000 and fans will be given South Korean team scarves and glow sticks.

Tickets for other areas range from ₩30,000 to 120,000 depending on seating. Tickets were only sold through the website or the app of the Korean Football Association (KFA) or an app of the bank sponsoring the match.
Ticket prices for this match are lower than when South Korea played Tunisia on October 13 at the Seoul World Cup stadium, with a capacity of 66,704. The highest ticket cost ₩380,000.
South Korea is 26th on the FIFA ranking, 69 places higher than Vietnam. Their number one star Son Heung-min is recovering from a groin injury and it is unclear if he will play.
In the past, South Korea met Vietnam six times. They won five and lost one. The most recent meeting between the two teams was in the semifinals of the 2018 Asian Games men's football in Indonesia.
Vietnam at that time under the guidance of coach Park Hang-seo lost 3-1, while South Korea went on to win the gold medal.
The last time South Korea played a friendly against a Southeast Asian team was in June 1991, a 3-0 victory over Indonesia. In the last two matches, Vietnam lost 2-0 to both China and Uzbekistan, while South Korea won 1-0 against Saudi Arabia and 4-0 against Tunisia.
