Saigon vegetarian restaurant makes list of world's best

It had been named among the Traveler's Choice Best of the Best Restaurants list in 2021 too.

The annual awards by the travel website recognize excellence in five categories, destinations, beaches, restaurants, hotels, and experiences, with users from all over the world voting based on their personal experiences and feedback.

The restaurant awards consist of seven categories: fine dining, everyday eats, hidden gems, vegetarian, family-friendly, date night, and quick bites.

According to the website, Hum Restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere and exquisite design, and prides itself on crafting dishes using fresh vegetables, roots and fruits.

Beyond Vietnamese cuisine, diners can relish modified renditions of dishes from various Asian countries, it added.

The restaurant has three outlets, two at 32 and 34 Vo Van Tan Street in District 3, and another at 32 D10 Street in Thao Dien Ward, District 2.

Its prices start at VND120,000 (US$4.90).

The list also has establishments in diverse nations such as Peru, Spain, Russia, and Greece.

Chia Vegan in Peru clinched the top spot, and was followed by Spain's Blu Bar and India's Time Traveler.
