Saigon luxury restaurant hosts tycoon family's birthdays

On March 13, Johnathan’s family held a birthday party for three members, his wife Thuy Tien, youngest son Hieu Nguyen and Marie Tram Anh, Hieu’s girlfriend, at Rose Villa Saigon in Thao Dien, one of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam’s wealthiest neighborhoods, comparable to the most affluent in Southeast Asia.

It’s a familiar party venue for Johnathan’s family as his youngest daughter Tien Nguyen, a fashionista, and social media influencer, has many times shared pictures of attending high-class parties there.
The complex includes a restaurant, lounge and luxury villas booked only by the wealthiest of the wealthy.

The grounds sparkle under candlelight in the evening, which attracts those who want to host a "royal" event. In addition to the restaurant, the complex also has a posh and plush lounge.

The restaurant’s menu includes traditional Vietnamese dishes such as Hue beef noodle soup, com tam (broken rice), goi cuon (spring rolls) as pictured, banh cuon (steamed rice rolls), crispy pancake, grilled pork vermicelli, lotus root salad and crab stir-fried vermicelli.
Dishes like this cost from VND200,000 (US$8) per serving at minimum, about 10 times what they might cost on the average Vietnamese street corner.

European-style main dishes such as crispy fried chicken thighs, crispy soft-shell crabs, grilled prawns with cheese, grilled pork ribs, grilled salmon fillet, beef steak and grilled lobster cost from VND500,000 up to nearly VND2 million per portion.

The restaurant also serves afternoon tea sets and English-style cakes.

The villa's campus covers an area of up to 4,000 square meters with five buildings in flamboyant red and pink colors, decorated with lush green gardens, lakes, and swimming pools, like a palace.

The swimming pool is located at the main entrance area. In addition to serving food, the facility offers 15 hotel rooms named after influential figures in the world fashion industry such as Chanel, Coco, Celine and Salvatore.
