Blue Dragon Film Photography Exhibition

Photography by children from the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation will be exhibited at ARCH. Café Bar & Rooftop Nov. 4 to 18.

The children have been given the opportunity to explore photography for this project and program. They've had a chance to learn about composition, color, framing, focus, self-expression, and self-portraits. Their photos tell the story of their daily lives in Hanoi, giving a peek into their world.

Visitors can purchase the work to support the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.

Blue Dragon helps children and young people in tough situations like slavery, homelessness, and poverty. They rescue and support them in the long term. They also use their experiences to advocate for better laws and policies to protect vulnerable individuals.

Vietnam Korea Culinary and Cultural Festival

The 13th Vietnam Korea Culinary and Cultural Festival is scheduled to take place this weekend. This event will offer a diverse selection of Vietnamese and Korean culinary and cultural experiences.

The festival provides a chance to enjoy Korean cuisine, featuring dishes like Teokbokki, kimchi, kimbap, bulgogi grilled meat, fruits, ice cream, and a range of other Korean specialties. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit more than 50 stalls and engage in various activities. The event includes the Vietnam-Korea Music Festival, which showcases celebrated artists from both countries.

The event runs from Nov. 3 to 5 at the Ly Thai To Monument on Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street.

Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2023

The "Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival" is an annual event that provides a platform for artisans, craft villages, souvenir gift producers, and tourism-related businesses to promote their products and brands.

Featuring 70 booths, the festival event also includes travel service companies offering discounted travel vouchers, tourism and hotel presentations, airline showcases, experiential zones, food stalls, and artistic performances. Visitors can partake in village craft workshops and immerse themselves in activities such as crafting bamboo dragonfly toys, coffee-making, and flower arranging.

"Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2023" will be held from Nov. 3 to 5, at Tran Nhan Tong Pedestrian Street.

Four hands dinner

A culinary event titled "Four hands dinner" is set to take place this Saturday. This one-night-only experience features a collaborative effort between the acclaimed Michelin Star Chef Yamaguchi Hiroshi and Chef Florian Stein, combining French and Japanese culinary traditions.

With limited seating, this event offers only 14 seats per serving, emphasizing its exclusivity. The price is VND8,500,000 ($345) per person, and attendees can register online at this link.

The event will be hosted at Koki - Capella Hanoi, located at 11 Le Phung Hieu Street, Hoan Kiem District.

The Beatles covers night

"Lovers of Love" is a Beatles cover night for everyone. Attendees can come with friends, loved ones, or alone, and enjoy singing, dancing, or relaxing to Beatles' classics. The main goal is to create a warm and joyful atmosphere, fostering a sense of love that can be both experienced and shared.
