Passengers can access the flag carrier’s website to check in anytime within 24 hours before departure but must do it at least one hour prior to boarding.
After the process is completed, passengers will receive an electronic ticket, which can be used to replace a physical equivalent.
Passengers with oversized baggage can check in using the electronic ticket at the counter.
Competitors Vietjet and Bamboo Airways so far only allow online check in at several major airports like Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang, Phu Quoc and others. They are still in the process of expanding the list.
