Gasoline prices dropped for the second time in two weeks.

RON95 fell 0.51% to VND23,320 ($0.98) per liter.

E5 RON92 went down 0.53% to VND22,420.

Diesel decreased for the fourth time in a row by 2.6% to VND20,250.

The next price change is scheduled on March 11.

The Ministry of Finance said Monday that Vietnam's current national fuel reserve is at 6-7 days of net imports, and to pump that figure to 15 days by 2025 and 30 by 2030, the country would need to spend annually VND4.1 trillion.

State’s coffers for now can only cover one-third of that figure.
