The U.S. dollar dropped against the Vietnamese dong Wednesday morning on the black market.

Unofficial exchange points sold the dollar at VND23,520, down 0.17% from Tuesday.

Vietcombank’s exchange rate remained stable at VND23,620.

Eximbank sold the greenback at VND23,580, up 0.04%. The rate at ACB is VND23,700, unchanged from Tuesday.

The State Bank of Vietnam maintained its reference rate at VND23,610.

The dollar has depreciated against the dong by 0.46% since the beginning of the year.

Globally dollar dropped for a fourth straight month in January, and lost 1.5% on the euro and 0.8% on the yen.
