Dollar falls against dong

Vietcombank sold the dollar at VND23,730, down 0.21% from Thursday.

Eximbank sold the greenback at VND23,720, down 0.08%.

The rate at Techcombank is VND23,770, down 0.08%, and at ACB is VND23,830, down 0.08%.

The State Bank of Vietnam set its reference rate at VND23,612, down 0.02%.

The greenback is sold at VND23,775 on the black market, down 0.19%.

The dollar has gained over the dong by 3.53% since the beginning of the year.

The U.S. Dollar Index, which measures the greenback’s strength against major currencies, hovered around 104 points.
