John Legend sips Hanoi’s signature egg coffee

Grammy Award-winning American singer John Legend has shared photos of himself sightseeing and drinking egg coffee in Hanoi on his Instagram account.
The American singer arrived to Vietnam on Jan. 19 as he was invited to perform at the Hanoi Opera House on Thursday.Performed in Hanoi tonight at the beautiful Opera House. My first visit to Vietnam. Thanks for having me! he wrote on Instagram.

Legend performs hit song All of Me at VinFuture Prize, one of the worlds largest annual awards in science and technology. The award aims to recognize ground breaking scientific and technological discoveries around the world.

Although his stay was not long, the Legend still took advantage of exploring a number of scenic spots in the capital Hanoi.He also snapped a photo of the Quan Thanh temple, which was built in 1010, to worship Huyen Thien Tran Vu, one of the four gods guarding the four gates of Thang Long Citadel, Hanoi’s former avatar.The temple is situated near West Lake, and together with Kim Lien Pagoda and Tran Quoc Pagoda creates harmonious landscape architecture for the area.

He left Vietnam on Friday morning. Though his stay was short, Legend explored a number of sights in the capital.

Whisked egg yolk is placed on top. The three main elements create a mixture that combines sweet, bitter and fatty flavors.His cup of coffee is also drawn with the image of the Sword Lakes Turtle Tower - the symbol of Hanoi - with the two letters JL stands for his initials on the side. Legend, born in 1978, is an American singer, songwriter, actor and producer. He is best known for many hit songs like Love Me Now and All of Me. He is one of 16 Hollywood artists in the EGOT group - the group that has won all four of the most prestigious awards in the art and entertainment world, including an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
