HCMC restaurant caught with waiters, waitresses offering sexual services

The police have arrested two managers of a HCMC restaurant for allegedly having hundreds of waitresses strip for foreigners and have paid sex with them.

Tran Thi Truc Ly and Dang Thanh Gioi of the Crystal restaurant were reportedly helping it rake in VND10 billion ($403,400) a month.

The main clients of the restaurant on Bui Thi Xuan Street in District 1 were foreigners, most of them Chinese and Korean.

The police said the duo allowed waitresses to perform strip-tease and buy drugs for customers. If customers wanted sex services, the waitresses would take them to hotels for a price of VND1-8 million.

The restaurant also had waiters performing strip-tease and providing sex services for women customers.

On March 21 the police caught four Korean men having sex at two hotels, and they said they went to Crystal restaurant where they were offered sex services.

Two of the women, Tran Thu Ngan, 25, and Phan Thi Cam Vien, 27, were found possessing methamphetamine.

An investigation is ongoing.
