SeABank names new CEO

The bank has appointed the Frenchman, who used to be deputy general manager, for a period of two years six months after Le Thuy resigned as CEO in July last year.

Faussier, 50, who has master's degrees in finance and business law, has worked for more than 25 years at major financial institutions and banks in France, Hong Kong and Japan.

In Vietnam, he was deputy general director of Vietnam International Bank (VIB) before moving to SeABank.

He had been an independent director of SeABank in 2018-23.

The lender’s management board now comprises the CEO and nine deputy general directors.
