Doan Hoang Anh, daughter of HAGL chairman Doan Nguyen Duc, has registered to buy one million shares of the company starting this week.

She will hold nine million shares, or a 0.97 percent stake in the company, once the deal is completed. Duc owns 320 millions share, or 34.5 percent stake.

HAGL plans a public offering of 161.9 million shares this year to raise VND1.7 trillion to augment the working capital of its subsidiaries, expand its banana plantations and pig farms and retire part of its debt.

It targets profits of VND1.12 trillion on revenues of VND4.82 trillion in 2022, which, if achieved, will make it the most profitable year for the company.
