Noibai Catering Services (NCS) reported a net profit of over VND8.5 billion (US$354,000) for the third quarter, ending a nine-quarter streak of losses.

The Hanoi-based company achieved gross profits of VND24.2 billion after racking up losses of VND16.8 billion in the same period last year.

Its revenues were VND136 billion, up five times, thanks to the aviation industry’s recovery.

But in the year to date the company has lost VND3.2 billion.

It expects to achieve revenues of around VND350 billion for the full year, up 2.4 times from last year.

This year it hopes to provide nearly 8.5 million meals on board flights, nearly three times the 2021 number.
