WAG model faces criticism for attire choice at wedding of 'Messi of Vietnam'

At the wedding ceremony of Hai and Chu Thanh Huyen, held on April 6 in Hanoi, Ky Han wore a camisole dress beneath a voluminous see-through maxi skirt. In some photographs, taken from certain angles and under specific lighting conditions, it seemed that the dark-colored undergarment worn by the model under the see-through skirt was visible, prompting criticism from some for her choice to wear "black leggings under a skirt," a choice considered unconventional for a formal event such as a wedding.

In response to the criticism, Ky Han clarified that she did not wear black leggings under her skirt. She explained that the strap dress she wore underneath had an ombre gray lower section, which might have resembled leggings in the photographs, leading to a visual misinterpretation.

"The outfit was to my taste but may not have been to everyone’s liking," she remarked, noting that her outfit received compliments from her husband and friends for the feminine and princess-like appearance it gave her.

Ky Han also mentioned that her husband supported her amid the criticism from online community members. She stated that she would consider the feedback but intends to continue embracing her personal style.

Ky Han, 29, emerged as the First Prize winner at the Asia Model Festival Awards in 2014. In addition to modeling, she has also made a name for herself as an actress.

Since her marriage to Quan, 32, in 2016, she has scaled back her activities in the entertainment sector to focus on her family and online business venture. The model-footballer couple shares two sons.
