Lin shared a snapshot of a pool overlooking the sea on his Instagram account on Tuesday with the caption: "Hello Da Nang, Vietnam."

Moreover, Lin circulated photos of himself in the coastal city through a Weibo group chat with his fans, featuring him savoring coffee with a view of the sea and holding a Vietnamese traditional conical hat.

The actor’s fans expressed their joy at seeing Lin’s life progressing back to normalcy following his car accident in 2022, while some admired the resort’s stunning landscape and extended wishes for a delightful holiday to Lin and his family.

At 50, Lin is known for his extensive fanbase, attractive appearance, and prolific filmography, with hits spanning across Asia like "Shaolin Boy," "My Lucky Star," and "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils."

He has reduced his participation in the entertainment industry after marrying Chen in 2009. The couple is blessed with three sons, including a 14-year-old and nine-year-old twins.

Lin experienced a severe accident in 2022 when his Tesla collided with a road barrier and subsequently ignited while he was navigating through the city of Taoyuan in Taiwan. He was rescued from the vehicle by local workers and bystanders just before it caught fire and was urgently transported to the intensive care unit of a nearby hospital.

The actor sustained a coma, numerous fractures across his face and body, and brain injuries, necessitating two surgeries—one for implanting a titanium rod in his arm and another for his facial injuries.

Lin resumed appearances on screen and at public events last year, although he mentioned that he has yet to fully recover from the incident and is continuing with physical therapy.

His leisurely visit to Da Nang is noted as yet another instance of international celebrities choosing Vietnam for their vacations this year.

In January, Hong Kong actress Linda Chung and her husband vacationed in Phu Quoc Island with their parents and children.

In March, American billionaire and co-founder of Microsoft Bill Gates visited Da Nang with his girlfriend, while South Korean actress Park Min Young and her "Marry My Husband" co-stars were spotted vacationing in the coastal city of Nha Trang.
