According to The Mirror, Umar and British model Nada celebrated their union with a four-day event starting on May 2, which included two wedding ceremonies. The first took place on May 3 at the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France, while the second was a traditional Indian-style wedding on the following day.
Their nuptials attracted an array of celebrities, including English supermodel Naomi Campbell, American actor Tessa Thompson, Canadian comedian Russell Peters, American singer Christina Milian, Vogue Arabia editor-in-chief Manuel Arnaut, and Saudi Arabian film producer Mohammed Al Turki.
The Daily Mail reported that during the May 3 ceremony, Nada wore a custom Dior gown designed by the fashion house’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, featuring a striking train and simple capped sleeves. Meanwhile, Umar appeared in a classic Tom Ford tuxedo.
American singer Mariah Carey and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli both performed at the event.
On May 4, the festivities continued with the couple dressed in traditional white, embellished outfits adorned with garlands around their necks. They were filmed sharing a tender kiss, while entertainment for the guests included dhol players, Bollywood dancers, and drums.
A relaxed barbecue on May 5 marked the conclusion of the celebrations.
Umar reportedly proposed to Nada in 2021 at the Monte-Carlo Playhouse in Las Vegas with a 1.7 million-pound ring.
The businessman, 36, is the son of Mahmud Kamani, founder of online fast-fashion retailer Boohoo.com. He co-founded PrettyLittleThing, a fashion firm and online retailer of clothing, accessories, and other items for women, with his brother Adam in 2012.
According to The Telegraph, his net worth is estimated at 797 million pounds (US$1 billion).
Nada, 31, is a renowned model and media personality, boasting over 556,000 followers on Instagram.
