Actress Han So Hee allegedly calls out ex-boyfriend Ryu Jun Yeol following split

According to Newsis, after the public confirmation of the end of her relationship with Ryu on Saturday, Han responded to a fan’s comment which said: "Well done. Dealing with someone who always stays quiet and avoids everything must have been extremely difficult for you. I wish for your quick recovery."

In her reply, Han stated: "Precisely, the other party remained silent while I endeavored to manage the situation as best as I could."

This response is seen as alluding to Ryu’s silence after their relationship was publicly disclosed on March 16, merely months after his separation from singer-actress Lee Hyeri, his ex-girlfriend of eight years. This sequence of events sparked allegations against Han for allegedly meddling in Ryu’s prior relationship with Lee.

Han previously addressed these speculations by clarifying that her relationship with Ryu started only after she was informed about his breakup with Lee in June last year. Nonetheless, some members of online communities pointed out that Ryu and Lee’s breakup was actually announced in November last year, raising questions about the accuracy of Han’s statements.

Subsequently, Han addressed Lee on social media on Friday, reasserting her non-involvement in Ryu and Lee’s prior relationship and voicing her frustration over the negative scrutiny she believes she has faced from the public. This post was shortly removed after being posted.

The subsequent announcement of Ryu and Han’s separation thus signaled the end of their romance just two weeks after it had been confirmed.

At 30, Han has received praise for her role in the 2020 South Korean television series "The World of the Married." She is also recognized for her resemblance to the esteemed actress Song Hye Kyo.

Ryu, 38, gained fame through his participation in the South Korean TV series "Reply 1988," where he starred alongside his ex-girlfriend Lee. He has maintained an active career in acting alongside his business ventures.
