Reports from Sinchew highlighted that the duo was seated together in the airport shuttle, engaging in quiet conversations and hand-holding. They opted for a low-key appearance, donning simple attire, masks, and hats for anonymity.

The presence of the couple did not go unnoticed by fans, who eagerly approached them for photos and videos, leaving Wong and Tse visibly surprised. Wong was accommodating to fans requesting her autograph, whereas Tse chose not to respond.

Observers pointed out Wong’s choice of an old-fashioned bag, a piece she has owned for many years, and complimented her for her radiant eyes that defy her age.

It is reported that Wong and Tse decided to take a break from their professional commitments to spend some quality time together in Japan earlier this year, a practice they often do.

The pair initially acknowledged their relationship in the late 1990s and went public with their separation in 2002.

Wong was later married to Chinese actor Li Yapeng in 2005, with whom she shares a daughter, while Tse married Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung in 2006, fathering two sons. Both marriages ended in divorce, with Tse and Cheung parting ways in 2011, while Wong and Li in 2013.

Tse and Wong made headlines again in 2014 when they rekindled their relationship.

Despite facing numerous rumors, Tse and Wong have enjoyed a solid partnership ever since. Actress Carina Lau, a close confidante of Wong, has spoken out about the strength of their bond.

Wong, 55, moved from Beijing to Hong Kong at 18 and gained fame in the early 1990s with her Cantonese music. Her international fame was bolstered by her roles in films by Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai, notably "Chungking Express" and "2046."

Tse, 44, entered the spotlight in 1996 as a singer and made his acting debut two years later. The South China Morning Post quotes him revealing on a 2019 talk show his long-standing affection for Wong, dating back to when he was 19.
