Vietstock Awards 2023 open for nominations

Endorsed and chaired by the Department of Livestock Production at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Vietstock Awards 2023 will honor typical businesses and organizations that have contributed to many positive and meaningful activities in Vietnam's livestock and aquaculture industries. Nominations are now open until September 22.

At the Award Committee meeting on August 21, Duong Tat Thang, the Director of the Department of Livestock Production at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, announced the awards and criteria for the Vietstock Awards 2023.

This award is one of the highlights of the Vietstock exhibition.

It has honored esteemed businesses and organizations with valuable and outstanding activities in the livestock and aquaculture industries in Vietnam 11 times.

The award is reviewed, evaluated, and decided on by the Award Committee, which consists of representatives of livestock industry agencies and prestigious organizations in Vietnam. Its evaluation criteria are clear, transparent, and fair.

It is also a prestigious award that all businesses and organizations operating in the livestock and aquaculture industries in Vietnam aim to achieve. The following categories include 18 awards in the livestock industry and 7 awards in the aquaculture industry.

The 18 livestock awards will be divided into five groups.

First is a group of awards for feed, including the Best Swine Feed Producer, Best Poultry Feed Producer, Best Ruminant Feed Producer, Best Local Premix Feed Producer, and Best International Premix Feed Producer.

Second is a group of awards for livestock breeds, including Best Pig Breeder Farm, Best Poultry Breeder Farm, and Best Duck Breeder Farm.

Third is a group of awards for livestock cooperatives or farms, including Best Swine Farm, Best Broiler Farm, Best Layer Farm, Best Dairy Farm, Best Beef Cattle Farm, and Best Livestock Cooperative.

Fourth is a group of awards for value chains (production, slaughter, processing, and consumption) and the export of livestock products, including Best Enterprise Contributing to Chain "From Farm to Fork," and Best Livestock Product Exporter.

Finally, there is a group of awards for remarkable contributions to the Vietnam livestock industry, including the Livestock Industry Achievement Award and the Best Livestock Equipment Manufacturer Award.

The 7 Aquaculture Awards include Best Aquaculture Hatchery, Best Aquaculture Feed Producer, Best Environmental Management Product Enterprise, Best Aquaculture Farm, Best Aquaculture Cooperative Society, Best Aquaculture Equipment Manufacturer, and Best Seafood Processor.

Eighteen livestock awards and 7 aquaculture awards will be officially announced at the Vietstock Awards Ceremony, which will be held at the Gala Dinner at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), HCMC on October 11. The Vietstock exhibition program will be hosted there from October 11 to 13.

At the Vietstock Awards Ceremony, the winning individuals and organizations will be honored and awarded by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Vietstock Awards are not only an award honoring outstanding achievements and development; they are also a certification of the continuous efforts of individuals and organizations operating in the livestock industry in Vietnam.
