PwC's Academy Vietnam launches ACCA training service

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is one of the largest and fastest-growing international accounting bodies.

According to the Accounting and Auditing Supervisory Department, Ministry of Finance, in 2022, Vietnam had 2,288 certified public accountants, and 446 of them had international certificates, which is nearly double the number recorded in 2015.

However, the survey results also indicate that the current number of qualified auditors does not meet the requirements of the independent audit profession, both in terms of quantity and quality.

This highlights the need for Vietnamese accountants to continuously upskill to adapt to international standards and for employers to promote upskilling to drive growth and attract top talents.

With its ACCA training service, PwC’s Academy Vietnam provides learners with a blended learning approach that allows flexibility and personalized learning.

Learners will be fully equipped with comprehensive and interactive materials on its exclusive award-winning eLearning platform, including full course notes, recorded lectures, continuous assessment, course checkpoints, and integrated computer-based mock tests.

Besides being a part of the extensive PwC's Academy network, which includes ACCA Platinum and Gold Approved Learning Partners, PwC’s Academy Vietnam also brings a local team of specialist tutors with practical experience and industry knowledge to support students in revision sessions.

With the launch of the ACCA training service, it has now established a complete learning and career development cycle for learners.

While this service focuses on technical skills, PwC's Online Academy eLearning service is an integral part of fostering digital and professional skills.

In addition, the previously introduced Fast Track Internship Program in December 2022 reflects the strong commitment of PwC Vietnam and ACCA Vietnam to boost career development for ACCA learners.
