The money collected is equivalent to 64% of the amount required under inspection and audit conclusions, according to data from tax authorities and the Department of Finance, Nguyen Truong Son, deputy director of the city's Department of Agriculture and Environment, announced at a press briefing on April 7.
The progress follows the implementation of Politburo Conclusion No. 77 and National Assembly Resolution No. 170, which provide mechanisms to address difficulties involving projects affected by inspection conclusions, audits and court rulings.
According to Son, Da Nang established three dedicated task forces shortly after the policies were issued to handle long-standing cases. To date, the city has resolved issues related to 1,981 projects and land assets, accounting for more than 97% of identified cases.

Among the resolved cases, authorities have issued notices to adjust land-use right certificates for 581 properties involving the allocation of commercial and service land with long-term tenure. Investors subsequently completed the required procedures in accordance with regulations.
"The processing time for administrative procedures has been reduced to one or two days," Son said.
The city has also completed legal reviews for 122 secondary investors, enabling them to continue project implementation. In addition, authorities reviewed land-use progress in 655 cases and are considering extensions subject to specific commitments from businesses.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment said the results represent an initial step and that the city will continue reviewing similar cases beyond the scope of Resolution No. 170.
In May 2024, the Politburo issued Conclusion No. 77 to address obstacles affecting projects in several localities. Six months later, the National Assembly adopted Resolution No. 170, introducing special mechanisms to resolve project-related issues in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Khanh Hoa Province.
