When Alamanda College, a government school in Melbourne, Australia, decided to move its network operations to the cloud, its partner Unity Computers recommended Juniper Networks' solutions driven by Mist AI.

Built for unparalleled visibility and control of the network user experience, Juniper Mist cloud service is a modern microservices cloud environment that prioritizes user experiences by providing insight into user behaviour, minimizing ICT operational costs with automation and proactive actions for the wireless network administrator.

Tony Pace, specialist technician, eduSTAR.TSS, Information Management and Technology Division, Alamanda College, did his research, and liked what he found out about Juniper’s Wireless Access Points driven by Mist AI. Pace wanted to set up a proof of concept to validate his expectations. After a 15-minute conversation with Juniper, Pace had the network up and running.

Juniper Networks recently also provided services to Philadelphia on a citywide scale to support municipal operations and constituent services. Staff in police, firefighting, public health, tax and other departments access critical data and applications over a Juniper network. CityNet provides a foundation to launch smart city services, and the city is rolling out 100,000 smart LED streetlights to support public safety at low energy expenses

In December 2020, ThaiSri, one of Thailand’s largest insurers, selected Juniper Networks’ AI-driven solutions to upgrade and automate the management of its network infrastructure.

Juniper Networks’ AI-Driven solutions have addressed ThaiSri’s fast-growing networking infrastructure demands, and has further strengthened the reliability of ThaiSri’s digital sales platform that is accessed round-the-clock by its agents, brokers, and company staff.

Juniper’s EX4300 Switches enhanced with Mist Wired Assurance, leverages AI-powered automation that configures, troubleshoots, and protects the company’s network while minimizing human errors and reducing bottlenecks.

Juniper’s Access Points driven by Mist AI also provides a unified approach to managing the overall network infrastructure by providing IT administrators with a single plane of glass with real-time visibility across connected network devices and servers.

With the Virtual Chassis technology, up to 10 interconnected EX4300 switches operate as a single logical device, reducing operational expenses and simplifying management.

A leader in secure, AI-driven networks

Headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, Juniper Networks has over 9,000 employees in 70 countries and $5 billion in revenue. Its customers include the top 100 global service providers and 30,000 enterprises, including the Global Fortune 100 as well as hundreds of federal, state, and local government agencies and higher educational organizations.

Juniper Networks delivered the first AI-driven network five years ago to address the need for self-driving networks that optimize user experiences and lower IT costs through end-to-end automation and insight.

In the second half of 2020, Juniper Networks announced their fourth expansion of the AI-driven enterprise to bring artificial intelligence to the LAN, WLAN and WAN for end-to-end optimization of user experiences and proactive troubleshooting driven by Mist AI.

In August 2020, the company announced four new wireless access points that extend benefits of the AI-driven Wi-Fi 6 to additional verticals and use cases. This brings all the benefits of the Juniper AI-Driven enterprise to cost-conscious small businesses, locations with extreme weather conditions, unique form factor requirements and enterprises looking to address the huge increase in remote workers.

From stores and schools to homes and hospitals, companies of all sizes and with a wide array of deployment requirements can now take advantage of the insight, automation, performance, and actions uniquely delivered by Juniper Networks' wireless solutions.

Juniper Networks aims to support enterprises on their digital transformation journey

Juniper Networks aims to support enterprises on their digital transformation journey.

While relatively new to the Vietnam market, Juniper Networks is determined to apply the same type of highly innovative services and solutions to its local customers, which are all aiming to leverage on technology for business competitiveness in line with the country’s vision and goals towards digital transformation.

The push towards digital transformation is well on the way; to note, the National Strategy on the 4th Industrial Revolution aims to have at least 40 percent of local companies applying new technologies. Priority fields where new technology will be applied: public administration, electricity and water supply, education, healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, trade, communication, finance and banking.

The Covid-19 pandemic served to push the program further. In June 2020, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc approved the national digital transformation roadmap to 2025, with a vision toward 2030. The proposed reforms highlight the need to foster learning of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, Big Data, and the Internet of Things.

Juniper Networks is well-placed to support enterprises in Vietnam as they fast-track their digital transformation while pushing the boundaries of connectivity through continuous innovation in network connectivity. Its accumulated experience in building intelligent networks also enabled several Vietnam enterprises to accelerate their digital transformation journey.

Global recognition

Gartner, Inc. in the 2020 Magic Quadrant for Data Center and Cloud Networking named Juniper Networks a leader for the third consecutive year.

In research published in June 2020, which aims to help I&O leaders determine vendors' ability to address current and future data center networking requirements, Gartner praised network strength as a strong portfolio of hardware and software, with feature depth and excellent automation capabilities.

"As a result, the vendor can meet the technical needs of nearly all use cases in this market," the research found.

It also revealed Juniper Networks' roadmap to apply AI to improve data center networking efficiency aligns with the emerging needs of customers and that the network had recently demonstrated a renewed focus on enterprise customers as noted by making large investments to grow its enterprise sales force.

"We think Gartner's latest data center networking report validates Juniper's vision and our ability to execute in the most important network environments," Manoj Leelanivas, chief product officer at Juniper Networks, told Globe Newswire as the network received the recognition.

"As technology leaders are driving the digital transformation of their business and rethinking how they measure the advancement of their data center and cloud infrastructure, I take great pride in how Juniper has continued to empower our customers in innovative new ways," he said.
