Nam Rach Chiec Company Limited and Huong Viet Properties have launched Palm River, the latest residential subdivision within the 30.2-hectare Palm City township in Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The launch marks a new development phase for Palm City, a mixed-use township project in eastern Ho Chi Minh City.

Located near Thu Thiem and several major transportation projects, Palm City is situated in an area undergoing significant infrastructure development. The township is connected to key routes including the Ho Chi Minh City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway and the An Phu Interchange, while future projects such as the Thu Thiem–Long Thanh metro line and Long Thanh International Airport are expected to improve regional connectivity.

Developers have increasingly focused on integrated township projects that combine residential, commercial and community functions as demand grows for larger-scale urban developments.

Palm City spans 30.2 hectares and is planned to include residential areas, retail facilities, schools, healthcare services and community amenities. The development also incorporates riverside landscapes, green spaces and public areas throughout the project.

Speaking at the launch event, Nguyen Si Toan, Managing Director, High-rise Residential Real Estate at Huong Viet Properties, said Palm River represents the next stage in the township's development.

"We see Palm River as the beginning of Palm City's next chapter and a continuation of our commitment to creating a thoughtfully planned township focused on long-term value and quality of life," he said.

Palm River is the first subdivision introduced under the company's latest development strategy. The project will offer a range of apartment types, from units of approximately 35 square meters to larger residences exceeding 300 square meters. The developer expects the project to be launched to the market in 2026.

The subdivision is located along the riverfront and incorporates design elements inspired by the surrounding landscape. According to the developer, the project emphasizes natural light, ventilation and access to outdoor views.

Amenities planned for Palm River include recreational and wellness facilities centered around water features and open spaces.

The project team includes a number of domestic and international consultants, including Singapore-based architectural firm DPA, Australian interior design company Dark Horse, Brazilian landscape consultant LJ-Group, green building advisor Ardor Green and project management firm Core.

According to the developer, the design approach seeks to combine international expertise with local market preferences, with a focus on green spaces, community facilities and residential amenities.

Several earlier phases of Palm City have already been completed, including Palm Residence, Palm Heights, educational facilities and public parks. These components have contributed to the development of an existing residential community within the township.

Huong Viet Properties operates in the residential, commercial and industrial real estate sectors, with projects focused on integrated planning and long-term development.
