The forest restoration program is part of joint initiative "Vi Ban Uom Mam Mot Viet Nam Xanh - Forests For Good," organized by P&G Vietnam, Central Retail Vietnam, and Gaia Vietnam for Earth Day 2023, which falls April 22.
The first phase is set to take place in July.

The initiative aims to promote environmental protection and inspire consumers to play an active role in preserving the earth. Consumers can participate in the program by purchasing products of P&G brands at any GO!, Big C and Tops market.
From April 13-26, when shopping for P&G products with a total value of VND399,000 ($17) per trip at participating supermarkets, consumers contribute one tree to the project.
Participants will also receive a VND20,000-50,000 voucher for each bill as a token of appreciation.

"The Forest for Good program has been an integral part of P&Gs Force for Good efforts to drive Nature Conservation across the region. Planting a tree is one of the simplest but most powerful ways in which we can help mankind today and for generations to come," said Priyamvada Srivastava, Vice President, Country Manager of P&G Vietnam.
"P&G, together with our partners, will now enable Vietnamese consumers to participate in Nature Conservation via tree plantation."
P&G products are designed to save water and energy, helping consumers save money and reduce environmental footprints. The company has also focused on raising awareness about preserving natural resources.
