Novaland hosted an event on Nov. 15 to unveil its completion plan for the riverside eco-urban mega-project Aqua City, affirming that construction is accelerating and the development is progressing as scheduled.

At the event, which brought together leaders of Dong Nai Province, representatives of local departments, strategic partners, investors, and Aqua City residents, Novaland pledged to dedicate all available resources to ensure the project is completed on time, with support from domestic and international partners and contractors.

Banks and financial institutions also confirmed they have disbursed and approved an additional credit line of more than VND18 trillion to continue funding the development.

The entire Aqua City development is expected to be completed in 2026, with around 9,200 units scheduled for handover between 2026 and 2027.

So far, more than 1,000 townhouses and villas have been delivered, and hundreds of families have moved in. Nearly 2,400 properties have been signed under sales contracts.

The developer added that several key amenities are already operational, including the Citigym Lifestyle Center, the Aqua Marina square–marina complex, Nova Mall, a security center, and an interconnected system of clubhouses.

Under the development plan, Aqua City will issue land-use right certificates to more than 700 residents next year. Between 2025 and 2028, Novaland expects to contribute approximately VND23 trillion to the state budget, supporting Dong Nai Province's socio-economic development.

Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai's Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee, praised Novaland's progress in completing legal procedures for Aqua City and bringing the project back on track. He stressed that the riverside urban development is among the key projects in the province's broader urban planning strategy.

At the end of June, the Bien Hoa People's Committee approved the local adjustment to the 1/500 detailed master plan for Aqua City's component subdivisions, marking the completion of all legal procedures for the development.

According to Novaland CEO Duong Van Bac, the project has overcome a challenging period thanks to guidance from central and provincial authorities, which helped resolve long-standing legal bottlenecks over the past three years.

Alongside the renewed commitment to project implementation, Novaland expressed its appreciation to tens of thousands of customers and investors for their patience and support throughout this period.

Aqua City spans more than 1,000 hectares and is bordered by 32 km of natural riverfront. The project is planned as a sustainable eco-urban development, with 70% of its area reserved for green spaces, infrastructure, and internal amenities. Its strategic location along Huong Lo 2 provides direct access to National Highway 51 and the HCMC–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway.

The project is also poised to benefit from major upcoming infrastructure developments, including the Dong Nai 2 Bridge, the Bien Hoa–Vung Tau Expressway, the Suoi Tien–Long Thanh Metro line, and the future Long Thanh International Airport.
