The upcoming edition will introduce two new highlights, functional ingredients and pet food ingredients, reflecting fast-evolving consumer demand and emerging growth segments in Vietnam's food and nutrition industry. The showcase is set to bring together domestic and international suppliers, offering a comprehensive portfolio of ingredient solutions that support product formulation, improve quality, and address rapidly expanding market trends in Vietnam and the wider region.
According to the Vietnam Functional Food Association's (VAFF) annual report, Vietnam's functional foods market continues to show strong momentum, reaching a market size of US$2.4 billion with an average annual growth rate of 15%. In parallel, Vietnam is increasingly positioning itself as a key link in the regional functional foods value chain, supported by its rich native botanical resources, competitive production costs, and accelerating international integration.
In line with the rapid expansion of the functional food sector, Fi Vietnam 2026 will debut a dedicated Functional Ingredients zone, showcasing advanced ingredient solutions for nutrition and health.
The zone is designed to facilitate direct engagement between buyers and suppliers, while highlighting product innovation driven by local botanical advantages, modern extraction technologies, and applications of contemporary nutritional science.

At the same time, Vietnam's pet food market is entering a phase of stable and promising growth. According to Mordor Intelligence, the market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.7% during 2025-2030, with market size estimated at US$156.1 million in 2025 and expected to reach US$226.3 million by 2030. Pet food accounts for 50.1% of the market, while treats, veterinary diets, and related products make up the remaining 49.9%.
Within this segment, pet functional food and nutritional supplements are forecast to grow at a robust CAGR of 11.9% through 2030, driven by the "pet humanization" trend and rising demand for specialized, health-focused nutrition solutions.
Responding to this growth trajectory, Fi Vietnam 2026 will introduce a Pet Food Ingredients highlight for the first time. The dedicated area will focus on ingredient solutions tailored specifically to the pet food sector, offering a broad overview ranging from core nutritional inputs to functional supplementation. The initiative aims to support manufacturers in optimizing formulations and enhancing product value as standards of pet care continue to rise.
