Microsoft Xbox: gaming for everyone

Xbox Game Pass by Microsoft offers unlimited access to a library of over 100 high-quality games, and Xbox Game, a studio that supports game creators.

With three billion players worldwide, games are the most popular form of entertainment, bringing people across geographies, cultures, and demographics all over the world together.

The library Xbox Game Pass currently has over 25 million subscribers in 46 countries. Members can get access to all of the latest Microsoft games, the iconic Bethesda products, and the EA Play membership.

Gamers can also experience hundreds of consoles, PCs, and mobile games of all genres that meet various interests.

"Gamers will have more options to experience, while game developers can increase sales of independent games, and overall revenue," said a representative of Microsoft.

Xbox Game Pass launched in Vietnam in April last year, with pricing set at VND24,900 (US$1.06) per month for the first three months.

The company's data reveals that 9 out of 10 Game Pass members try new games after they join, and the average game sees its audience increase by 8.5 times, with some games seeing a 100 times increase.

Game Pass players spend more than 44% time for gaming and more than 50% on content prior to subscribing.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play games anywhere they want, on the cloud, and with no download required.

Microsoft not only provides a diverse game library, it also aims to build an inclusive gaming community. Xbox Clubs and the group search function allow gamers to connect and play with like-minded players. Community standards and the filters automatically block content to help build a civilized gaming environment.

Xbox offers a range of supporting features, including narrators, co-pilots, adaptive controllers, voice-to-text, and text-to-speech.

The games are also designed for the sighted and visually impaired communities. This year, the company launched its Xbox Accessibility Guidelines for testing Xbox access for disabled community developers by providing them with guidance and support.

Xbox Game Studios focuses on three pillars: game development, collaborating with independent studios, and developing projects.The team also sponsors many programs to teach game developers how to realize their dreams and become a commercial success.

Xbox has created 23 studios that are constantly researching and uploading attractive and high-quality games, from iconic shooters like Halo and DOOM to classics like Psychonauts, Minecraft, Oblivion and Fallout RPG.

This year, it is expected that the game store will grow to 30 studios for players to enjoy games anytime, anywhere, whether on console, PC or Xbox Cloud Gaming, and all are available on Xbox Game Pass.

With ID@Xbox, independent developers have earned more than $4 billion since the program's inception and the release of more than 3,000 games. The ID@Xbox publishing program enables developers of all sizes to create and publish their work on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox PC apps.

The program has seen nearly 200 games from the Asia-Pacific group.

Xbox currently has more than 5,000 game developers from 100 countries, over 3,000 titles from ID@Xbox's partners, and more than 200 independent game developers whose games have been published on Xbox.
