Microsoft acquires OKR software product

With over 10 years of experience in building hundreds of initial-stage products, PowerGate Software has worked alongside the partner of the project to lay the foundation for an OKR (objectives and key results) strategic goal-planning and execution management software.

The product raised tens of millions dollars within 3 years and was then acquired by Microsoft and released as a component of Microsoft Teams in Microsoft Viva and as an extension of Microsoft 365.

The software's deep integration with already-in-use business systems is a key and valued feature. Additionally, it serves as a platform for workers to gather communication information, knowledge, and resources from any location where they work. This has made it possible for these businesses to measure their development based on OKRs in the most effective way possible.
