Their prices were unchanged at VND135,000 in the Central Highlands, another top durian-producing region.
The price of Monthong durian inched down by 0.6% to VND154,000 per kilogram in the Central Highlands but was firm at VND155,000 in the Mekong Delta.
For export, prices of the Ri6 variety and the Thai cultivar were steady at VND152,000 and VND179,000 per kilogram, respectively.
The main harvest in the Central Highlands is ending and the off-season harvest usually spans the last few months of the year.
According to Vietnamese magazine Doanh Nghiep va Hoi Nhap, the rainy weather and impacts of storms are expected to lower supply this year while durian remains in demand, resulting in high prices.
