Gold prices fall slightly

Gold ring price fell 0.17% to VND55.85 million per tael. A tael equals 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.

Globally, gold prices slipped on Monday as a sturdy dollar made the greenback-denominated metal less affordable for buyers holding other currencies.

Spot gold was down 0.3% at $1,962.36 per ounce, as of 00:49 GMT. U.S. gold futures also fell 0.3% to $1,980.10, according to Reuters.
