Gasoline prices plummeted on Thursday to the lowest since Sept. 12 last year.

The popular fuel RON95 declined by 3.73% to VND19,640 per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 dropped 3.41% to VND19,280.

Diesel fell 2.40% to VND17,890.

Regulators said that fuel prices in the last seven days were affected by increased oil production from OPEC+ countries, uncertainty in U.S. tax policies on goods from other nations, and the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Gasolines declined 4.4-4.5% while oils fell 0.9-2.9% in the period. RON95 is now at $78.6 per barrel and diesel at $84.3.
