Gasoline prices on Thursday afternoon rose for the third time this month and reached a four-week high.

The popular fuel RON95 went up 2.45% to VND23,010 ($0.90) per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 rose 2.37% to VND23,010.

Diesel increased by 1.57% to VND20,680.

In the last seven days fuel prices were affected by rising tension in the Middle East, increasing U.S. inventory, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, according to regulators.

In the period, gasoline went up 3-3.2% while oils added 1.5-1.9%. RON95 is now at $95.5 per barrel and diesel $100.7.
