The popular fuel RON95 went up 1.69% to VND20,420 (US$0.80) per liter.
Biofuel E5 RON92 gained 1.73% to VND20,030.
Diesel rose 2.26% to VND18,520.
Regulators said that fuel prices last week rose due to a decrease in U.S. crude oil and gasoline inventories.
Price changes were also stemmed from the U.S.’ plans to impose taxes on goods from nations buying oil from Venezuela.
Another contributing factor is OPEC+ continuing its plan to increase oil production.
In the last seven days, gasoline prices went up 1.9-2.1% while oils increased by 1.9-2.5%.
RON95 is now at $82.3 per barrel and diesel at $85.8.
