Vietnam gasoline prices on Thursday afternoon rose to the highest since July 1.

The popular fuel RON95 went up 0.98% from last Thursday to VND20,600 (US$0.78) per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 gained 1.16% to VND19,980.

Diesel rose 0.32% to VND18,700.

Globally the global oil and fuel market in the past seven days has been influenced by several factors, such as the U.S. Federal Reserve lowering interest rates and a decrease in U.S. crude oil inventories, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

RON95 rose 1.4% to $82.7 per barrel while diesel gained 0.5%.
