Gasoline and diesel prices rose slightly in Vietnam Thursday afternoon after last week’s decline.

The popular fuel RON95 gained 2.19% to VND19,590 (US$0.76) per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 went up 2.18% to VND19,180.

Diesel increased by 2.5% to VND17,220.

Globally fuel prices in the last seven days were influenced by multiple factors, including a temporary agreement between the U.S. and China to reduce import tariffs on goods, escalating tensions in the Middle East, OPEC+ accelerating oil production increases, and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

RON95 rose 2.9% to $77 per barrel while diesel increased by 3% to $79.11 per barrel.
