Vietnam gasoline prices dropped Thursday afternoon, ending a nine-week rising streak.

Popular fuel RON95 fell 0.15% to VND20,400 (US$0.77) per liter.

Biofuel E5 RON92 dropped 0.50% to VND19,750.

Diesel gained 0.92% to VND18,640.

The global oil market in the past seven days has been influenced by several factors such as Israel attacking Hamas leadership on Qatari territory; OPEC+ increasing oil production in October; and the US dollar depreciating, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

RON95 fell 0.2% to $81.5 per barrel, while diesel rose 1.14% to $87.64.
