The rapid rise of Vietnam’s middle classes presents tremendous opportunities for wealth management services.
The net asset of the personal finance market in Vietnam is projected to reach US$600 billion by 2027, growing at an annual rate of 11% from 2022, according to insight by McKinsey.
However, wealth management services in Vietnam are still in their nascent stages.

Many individuals continue to choose traditional assets like gold, property, or securities rather than engaging with professional wealth management providers.
This trend underscores a significant gap in the market for innovative and accessible wealth management solutions.
To fill in the gap, MaiMoney has partnered with Viet Tin Capital to bring a private wealth management experience to retail investors by unlocking products and services traditionally only available to institutional investors.
With the use of innovative technology to create an investment management platform, MaiMoney makes professional investment management accessible to a diverse cross section of clients, from young professionals to high-net-worth individuals.

Since its launch in March 2024, MaiMoney has grown to more than US$2 million under management.
Its first product, MaiGreen offers a stable, high-return investment option by investing in green energy companies, aiming for an 8.5% return while actively monitoring their operations.
MaiMoney’s upcoming product, MaiCash+, a short-term high yield investment product where the investment team monitors money market securities daily and leverages MaiMoney’s technology to automatically migrate client capital to the highest available yielding option for them.
"MaiCash+’s innovation is when customers top up into their MaiMoney wallet, their cash instantly gains returns that are paid fortnightly," says Nhi Nguyen, founder and CEO of MaiMoney.
With the two core products, MaiGreen and MaiCash+, individuals can choose to invest based on their investment preference and have professionals handle the management.
MaiMoney provides all-in-one solution services from product, technology, marketing, and sales to Viet Tin Capital, a licensed fund management company, to deliver premium products to their clients.
The company employs a holistic approach to create their product, from conducting thorough market research to exploring individuals’ investment needs and capabilities to working closely with Viet Tin Capital to structure financial products that align with client expectations.
Following market demand, MaiMoney aims to democratize portfolio investments.
Instead of restricting investments to only wealthy accredited investors willing to pour at least VND2 billion (US$80,285) into traditional funds that charges 2% fees and 20% of the profits, MaiMoney allows anyone to invest as little as VND100,000 (US$4.01) with no extra fees.
To further explore their investment opportunities, customers can also book appointments with professional financial advisors.
Last month, MaiMoney opened their wealth management office at 40 Phan Boi Chau in Hanoi. "Many of our customers have a preference for offline interactions," says Nhi. "We want our investors to feel secure when investing with us and understand our products to ensure they are right for them."
By leveraging its strategic partnership with Viet Tin Capital, MaiMoney enjoys the privilege of industry connections and investment deals as it tries to carve out a client base for a fresh product.
Looking ahead, MaiMoney aims to offer new and innovative financial products and financial planning features for the next generation, redefining the future of wealth management.
