Lotte Shopping celebrated the official grand opening of Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi on September 22, in an event graced by prominent Vietnamese government officials and top executives of Lotte Group.
The shopping center embodies Lotte’s vision of establishing Lotte Town in Vietnam, with the goal of providing Vietnamese citizens with a premier shopping destination and an unparalleled Asian shopping experience.
Nestled close to West Lake, Hanoi’s largest lake and a popular tourist destination, Lotte Mall West Lake distinguishes itself with its modern luxury design that artfully blends the three concepts of shopping, relaxation, and nature.
The new shopping complex combines natural elements, entertainment, and accommodation, offering a visually captivating layout featuring renowned artist creations.

Lotte Mall West Lake is a 354,000-square-meter mega-commercial complex with a seven-floor facility that boasts over 230 stores and prestigious brands.
It is also one of the largest premium shopping malls in Vietnam, operated by Lotte Shopping, and houses a supermarket by Lotte Mart.
There is a 5-star L7 Hotel, the largest aquarium in the city, and a high-end cinema from Lotte Culture Works inside the complex.
The first basement features Lotte Mart, offering a grocery platform with 90% of the area occupied for displays. The store also features Lotte Station, Noodle Station, and Gift Station.
The ground floor houses Vietnam's first boutique-style cosmetics outlets for globally acclaimed beauty giants and flagship stores for internationally renowned brands like Nike Rise and Samsung Experience.
Lotte Mart's professional wine store, Bottle Bunker, also makes its foreign debut in Vietnam, offering the largest wine shop with 3,500 types of alcoholic beverages.

On the second floor, shoppers can enjoy well-established sportswear labels, including Adidas and New Balance, alongside fashion establishments catering to the youth demographic, such as Marks & Spencer and Pull & Bear.
Stepping up to the third floor is TAT Golf, a comprehensive store catering to golf enthusiasts, complemented by children's boutiques and a dynamic food hall featuring a delectable array of Vietnamese and Korean culinary delights.
The fourth and fifth floors offer a diverse range of cultural experiences and entertainment options, including a state-of-the-art movie theater and dedicated zones for children.

The Lotte World Aquarium inside the complex, covering 9,000 square meters and housing 3,400 tons of water, boasts nearly 31,000 sea creatures from 400 species.
The aquarium recorded an average daily visitor count of 10,000 people during the Vietnam National Day break on September 1-4. It is expected to attract more than a million visitors in the coming year.
Another compelling feature of the mall is the 5-star L7 Hotel, which takes the form of two towering 23-story structures.
There are 264 hotel rooms and 192 residency rooms, all offering panoramic views of the West Lake and the Red River.
L7 by Lotte West Lake Hanoi is not just the overseas debut of L7, Lotte Hotel's lifestyle brand, but also marks its first foray into providing 5-star services and facilities on a global scale.

According to Lotte Group's representative, since opening, the complex has attracted nearly two million visitors, with an average daily footfall of 30,000 individuals, 25,000 on weekdays and 50,000 on weekends. This demonstrates the significant local interest in the integrated shopping model, which is expected to become Hanoi's premier landmark for both citizens and tourists, the representative added.
The representative stated that the Korean group chose Vietnam as the location for the mall as it not only meets local needs for a complete retail experience, but also contributes significantly to the area by rejuvenating the local economy and generating over 3,000 job opportunities.
Kim Sang-hyun, Vice Chairman and CEO of Lotte Shopping, said they will make Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi one of the first things that comes to mind when locals and tourists think of Vietnam.
