The Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) recently hosted a series of events themed "Do Business from the Heart of Dubai" and "Set Up in Dubai: Global Growth for Vietnamese Businesses" in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, with the accompaniment of Jemmia.

The two events on Oct. 28 and 30 gathered more than 500 guests, including Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC; H.E. Dr. Bader Abdulla Almatrooshi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Vietnam; Pham Quang Vinh, Former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of SOM ASEAN; along with leaders from numerous Vietnamese and international enterprises.

Jemmia, an internationally certified Vietnamese diamond brand, served as a strategic partner accompanying DMCC at both events. The Ho Chi Minh City program marked an energetic start to the trade promotion journey, while the Hanoi session concluded with commitments for deeper collaboration — paving new pathways for Vietnamese businesses seeking global growth.

Before joining DMCC's 2025 Vietnam program, Jemmia representatives had made three business trips to Dubai and Abu Dhabi to study the market, attend the Dubai Diamond Conference, and build connections with leading regional trade organizations.

In June 2025, Jemmia officially established its representative office at DMCC Dubai, becoming the first Vietnamese diamond brand to be based in the Middle East's largest commodities center.

According to Dang Tuan Kiet, Jemmia's Brand Director, Vietnamese enterprises have what it takes to go global — with vision, courage, and a willingness to learn.

"For Jemmia, this is not merely business; it's a journey to carry Vietnamese culture further," he said.

Beyond jewelry, Jemmia aims to act as a bridge for other high-value Vietnamese industries — from agricultural products and coffee to technology — to access Dubai's global trade ecosystem.

During the event, Ahmed Bin Sulayem described Vietnam as "one of the most dynamic and innovative economies in the region." He emphasized that DMCC, home to over 25,000 businesses from 180 countries, is the most active trade hub in the Middle East. With flexible investment policies, a business-friendly environment, and globally connected infrastructure, DMCC enables companies to "go global from a single location."

"We see in Vietnam a pioneering spirit and a strong desire for integration. Jemmia is a prime example of an enterprise that dares to think, dares to act, and dares to lead," he added.

At the discussion sessions, many Vietnamese entrepreneurs explored opportunities to expand trade operations and connect with international markets through DMCC's global ecosystem in Dubai.

For Jemmia, its partnership with DMCC represents not only a business opportunity but also the responsibility of a pioneering Vietnamese brand to open pathways for others seeking to reach international markets.

"We hope to contribute another piece to the trade bridge between Vietnam and Dubai so the world can see not only Vietnamese diamonds but also Vietnamese creativity," said a Jemmia representative.

Jemmia's jewelry collections draw inspiration from lotus flowers, pearls, and traditional heritage, meticulously crafted from internationally certified diamonds. According to Ahmed Bin Sulayem, what makes Jemmia unique is not only its products but also how it celebrates Vietnamese culture in every detail.

The events in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi received positive feedback from both Vietnamese and international businesses.

For Jemmia, this experience marks only the beginning. The brand plans to expand international partnerships, introduce Vietnamese diamonds to new markets, and continue promoting its philosophy of "integrity, culture, creativity, and global connection" as a defining value of modern Vietnamese enterprise.
