The export tariff for gold jewelry has been reduced from 1% to 0%, according to a recent government decree.

The degree, effective Oct. 10, 2025, also similarly reduced the export tax rates to 0% for jewelry and jewelry parts made of other precious metals, whether coated or not coated or plated with precious metals.

The rate remained unchanged at 0% for jewelry and jewelry parts made of silver, whether coated or not coated or plated with other precious metals; and jewelry parts made of base metals coated with precious metals.

For art and craft items and parts thereof, the tax rate is maintained at 0% for those made of silver or base metals coated with precious metals. Export tax on art and craft items made from other precious metals will be reduced from 1% to 0%.

Exports of other gold and silver products will also see a similar tax cut.
