Salary trumps the prospective employer’s brand value when it comes to taking up job, 60 percent of respondents told a survey done by recruitment company Navigos Group.

This means the corporate culture, business scale, investment model, leadership, working environment, and company reputation take a back seat in deciding whether to apply for a job, the survey, which polled 1,000 job seekers and more than 400 employers, said.

Eighty percent said the Covid-19 pandemic would not make them change their mind about salary and benefits being the top factor.

Half of them said good remuneration shows how well-developed a business is.

The three top benefits job seekers want are insurance and healthcare, sales commission and bonus and training.
