According to a resolution of the company's Board of Directors, Lucas Ignatius Loh Jen Yuh will step down as group CEO and the company's second legal representative, effective Sept. 1, 2026, after submitting his resignation on July 27. He will remain a member of the company's Board of Directors.
Huong was appointed acting group CEO effective July 28, 2026, and will oversee the group's management and operations.

Huong has more than 30 years of experience in investment, finance and real estate. She has held senior leadership roles, including chief executive officer, chief strategy officer and chief investment officer, at organizations including Vingroup, Sovico Group, SSI and HSBC.
At Nam Long, she previously served as group chief investment officer, where the company said she played a key role in developing investment partnerships with Japanese investors.
Nguyen Xuan Quang, chairman of the company's Board of Directors, welcomed Huong's appointment.
"We extend our sincere congratulations to Nguyen Thanh Huong on her new appointment. The Board of Directors will continue to work closely with the acting group chief executive officer to execute our development strategy, enhance competitiveness and create sustainable value for our shareholders, customers and stakeholders," he said.
During the transition period, Nguyen Xuan Quang will also directly oversee the Township and Residential Development division in his capacity as chairman of the Members' Council of Nam Long Land Investment Company Limited (NLL).
