Special consumption tax on luxury cars to rise sharply this July

For the under nine seater, special consumption tax on small engine cars is expected to decrease whereas that on large engines will experience a surge.

Meanwhile, tax imposed on other car types will decrease.

Tax on electric cars will be effective from this July.
