The transaction is part of Tasco’s strategy to be the service provider for all demands of a car owner, including getting loans, buying insurance, and maintenance.
SVC accounts for 11.2% of Vietnam’s car distribution market. It sells vehicles of Toyota, Ford and Volvo.
Last year its revenue was VND21.32 trillion ($882.72 million) and its pre-tax profits was VND692 billion, a new record since establishment.
The company targets to sell 40,000 vehicles this year and fetch a revenue of VND35 trillion.
Tasco owns Vietnam Electronic Toll Collection company and has nearly 3 million customers.
