Los Angeles Clippers basketball club owner Steve Ballmer maintains his nine-year reign as the U.S.’s wealthiest sports team owner, with several billionaires trailing behind, according to Forbes.

1. Steve Ballmer, 67

He bought the professional basketball team Los Angeles Clippers, which competes in the prestigious National Basketball Association (NBA) league, in 2014, and has been the country’s richest sports team owner ever since.  As of Feb.16, his net worth stands at an estimated US$119.4 billion.
