South Korean retailer Lotte Mart and property developer Daewon are exploring opportunities to develop retail and industrial projects in the central coastal province of Binh Dinh.

Lotte Mart is looking to invest in a mall and a supermarket chain in Quy Nhon, the biggest town in the province, the company executives told Binh Dinh authorities at a recent meeting.

Executives of Daewon expressed interested in residential and industrial property projects.

Binh Dinh chairman Pham Tuan Anh said that the investment ideas align with the province’s development strategy.

The province would provide "most favorable conditions" for them in terms of land and business investment environment, he added.

The government eyes to make Binh Dinh a leading growth hub in the central coast by 2030.
