The carrier now operates only seven Airbus aircraft on 12 domestic routes and has suspended regular international flights, maintaining only charter services.
Before the restructuring it had 30 narrow-body and wide-body aircraft flying on 66 domestic and 15 international routes.
Sam said the group of investors who had bought the airline from FLC is currently not financially capable of operating it.
Bamboo Airways was established by FLC in 2017 and started flying in early 2019.
In May 2023 the airline was fully sold to Sam. He will continue as chairman of the airline.
