A month after its launch, the 11-inch iPad Air M2 is being sold at VND16.6 million at FPT Shop, CellphoneS and Minh Tuan Mobile. Di Dong Viet sells it at VND15.9 million.
The powerful iPad Pro M4, which has Apple’s newest chip, starts at VND27.99 million. The highest option, with two-terabyte storage, costs VND74.5 million.
A representative of Minh Tuan Mobile said the iPad has a loyal customer base in Vietnam thanks to its durability.
The new iPadOS with artificial intelligence might also attract new customers who want to experience its new technology, he said.
CellphoneS has received nearly 500 bookings for the iPad, while Di Dong Viet said it might be unable to sell to new customers due to the high demand.
Apple unveiled the new devices in May, with the iPad Pro being its thinnest device to date at 5.1 millimeters. It features an OLED display and the new M4 chip, its biggest upgrade since debuting in 2015.
The iPad Air has the M2 chip that is three times faster than its predecessor.
